Scooter Rental Bangkok

The two NOIRR scooters, what they are for, and their status today.

Short answer

The two NOIRR scooters, what they are for, and their status today.

  • NOIRR rents curated premium cars and motorbikes in Bangkok.
  • The focus is black vehicles, clear delivery, and a cleaner booking process.
  • Submit a booking request to confirm availability, license requirements, and deposit details.

Scooter Rental Bangkok

The fastest way to move through Bangkok is on a scooter. Not the cheapest scooter on the soi, but one that stops properly in the wet and does not fall apart at 90 on Rama IX. NOIRR runs two: the Yamaha XMAX 300 and the Honda ADV350. Both are being prepared for the fleet, and neither has dates available yet.

Scooter Availability, Updated 18 August 2026

  • Yamaha XMAX 300. 292cc, Smart Key, ABS, traction control, underseat storage that swallows a full-face helmet. Status: no dates available. This one is not in the NOIRR fleet yet, so booking is not open. Reference rate for when dates open: ฿1,100 per day.
  • Honda ADV350. 330cc, HSTC traction control, adventure-touring geometry, tall adjustable screen, 25 litres of storage. Status: no dates available. This one is not in the NOIRR fleet yet, so booking is not open. Reference rate for when dates open: ฿1,400 per day.

What NOIRR Can Give You Today

One vehicle: the Ducati Monster 937, ฿3,500 per day, delivered anywhere in Bangkok, booked from a calendar at noirr.co/book. It is not a scooter and it does not pretend to be. No storage, no wind protection, no automatic gearbox, and it needs a rider with real experience. If you came here for a practical daily runabout, the notify list is the honest answer and the Ducati is not.

XMAX 300 or ADV350: Which One to Wait For

Take the XMAX if your riding is almost all city. It is lower, lighter through traffic, and the underseat space is the best in the class. Take the ADV350 if you want to leave Bangkok on weekends. The taller screen, longer suspension travel, and 20mm more ground clearance are the difference between enjoying a Kanchanaburi road and enduring it. In pure city use the XMAX is the better tool and it is cheaper. Anyone telling you the ADV350 is strictly better has not ridden both in Bangkok traffic.

Do I Need a Licence to Rent a Scooter in Bangkok?

Yes. The XMAX 300 and ADV350 are both well over 150cc, so you need an International Driving Permit with a motorcycle endorsement (Category A), or a valid Thai motorcycle licence. A car-only licence does not cover either. Minimum age is 21, and a passport copy is checked at delivery and handed straight back.

Scooter Rental vs Grab in Bangkok

Grab and Bolt are better for a single trip between two fixed points, especially in the rain. A rented scooter wins the moment you have three or more stops in a day. Half a day of moderate movement on Grab runs ฿300 to ฿600 and rises with surge. A scooter is a fixed number for 24 hours and it is waiting outside when you want it.
