Monthly Motorbike Rental Bangkok

Why a Month Is Priced Differently
A month is not thirty daily rentals. On a day rental the cost is dominated by two trips across Bangkok, a handover, a condition inspection, a clean, and a collection, all of which happen once instead of thirty times on a monthly. That is the whole reason the monthly figure lands under the multiplied daily rate, and it is quoted per booking rather than published, because the length of the stay and the delivery address both move it.
What a monthly rental adds on the NOIRR side is servicing. Over four weeks a bike ridden daily in Bangkok will need at least a chain check, a tyre pressure check, and possibly an oil service depending on the kilometres. On a monthly booking that is handled by NOIRR at your address, not left for you to organise at a dealer on a weekday morning.
What a Month on a Bike in Bangkok Actually Involves
- Parking. Most Bangkok condos include motorcycle parking or charge a small monthly fee for it. Check with your building before you commit to a month, because a bike with nowhere to sleep is a bike parked on a soi.
- Fuel. The first tank is included at handover. After that it is yours. A 937cc twin ridden in city traffic is not a 125cc commuter and the fuel bill reflects that.
- Rain. If your month falls between roughly May and October you will ride in rain, and you will want a jacket that handles it rather than a poncho bought at a 7-Eleven at the third downpour.
- Expressways. Motorcycles are banned from Bangkok's elevated expressways and tollways for the entire month, so your route planning is on the surface network throughout.
- Traffic fines. They follow the rider, not the rental. Since 1 April 2026 the Royal Thai Police enforce ten major violations with no warning first, with no helmet at up to ฿2,000 and speeding at up to ฿4,000. The full picture is in the Thailand driving guide.
Documents for a Long Rental
Long-term riders need exactly the same documents as everyone else: an International Driving Permit with the motorcycle category (Category A) plus your original home licence, or a valid Thai motorcycle licence. There is no relaxed version of this for a longer booking. Two details catch long-stay riders specifically. An IDP is valid for one year from issue, or until your home licence expires, whichever comes first, so a booking that runs past that date leaves you riding without cover for the tail of it. And an IDP has to be issued in your home country before you travel, so it cannot be renewed from Bangkok. Anyone staying in Thailand long enough for that to bite should look at converting to a Thai motorcycle licence instead. Full document detail is on the IDP Thailand guide.
What NOIRR Needs to Quote a Month
Four things, and the quote comes back the same day. The start date and the number of weeks. The delivery address in Bangkok. Which licence you hold, Thai or an IDP with the motorcycle category. And whether you have somewhere secure to keep the bike overnight for the length of the booking. That last one is not a formality on a 937cc bike left on a public soi for four weeks, and it is the question most rental sites never ask before taking the money.
Who Monthly Actually Suits
Three people book a bike by the month in Bangkok. Expats between condos or on a project posting, who want transport without buying and reselling a machine. Long-stay riders who have worked out that Grab across the city twice a day adds up faster than a rental does. And riders considering buying the same model, for whom a month is the only honest test ride there is. What monthly does not suit is a first-time rider in Bangkok traffic. A month is a long time to spend learning a city and a 111hp bike at the same time, and NOIRR would rather say that now than at the handover.
Where the Rest of the Market Sits
Available for rental enquiries: Mercedes Benz E350e: ฿6,900/day; Ducati Monster: ฿2,900/day; Honda ADV350: ฿1,400/day, ฿7,000/week, ฿22,000/month. Exact dates, the full quote, deposit and rental terms are confirmed before you commit.
Deposit, Delivery and Collection
The refundable deposit on the Ducati Monster 937 is ฿20,000, cash or card, taken at delivery and returned in full when the bike comes back in its original condition. NOIRR never holds a passport. Delivery is to any Bangkok address, including Sukhumvit end to end, Silom, Sathorn, Ratchadaphisek, Huai Khwang, and both airports. Collection at the end of the month can be from a different address than the delivery, which matters when a month-long stay ends at an airport rather than at home.
