Licence Requirements for Motorbike Rental in Bangkok
Every NOIRR bike is over 150cc, so you need an International Driving Permit with a motorcycle endorsement (Category A), or a valid Thai motorcycle licence. A car-only IDP does not cover motorcycles in Thailand and NOIRR will not hand over the keys without the right document. A passport copy is checked at delivery and returned on the spot.
Deposit and What Is Included
The refundable security deposit on the Ducati Monster 937 is THB 20,000, paid in cash or by card at delivery, and refunded in full when the bike comes back in its original condition. NOIRR never holds your passport. The daily rate includes delivery anywhere in Bangkok, third-party liability insurance, a helmet, a full tank at handover, and 24/7 phone support.
Is It Worth Renting a Motorbike in Bangkok?
Yes, if you plan to move around independently for more than a couple of hours a day. A bike halves most cross-town journeys against a car or a rideshare, and it removes the part of Bangkok that people actually hate, which is sitting still. The catch is that it only works if you can ride. The Monster is a 111hp naked bike, not a first bike.
