Motorbike Rental Price in Bangkok, 2026

This page is about the market, not just about NOIRR. Rates across Bangkok are published widely enough to state plainly, and the headline number is rarely the number you end up paying. Here is what is actually being charged, what moves it, and where NOIRR sits.

Daily Rates by Bike Class

• 125cc commuter scooter (Honda Click and equivalents): roughly ฿150 to ฿350 a day.
• Maxi-scooter (Yamaha NMAX, Honda PCX 160 and equivalents): roughly ฿250 to ฿450 a day.
• Premium 300cc class (Yamaha XMAX 300, Honda ADV350): above the maxi band. The NOIRR reference rates for these two are ฿1,100 and ฿1,400 a day, and neither is bookable yet.
• Big bike, 900cc class (Ducati Monster 937, Kawasaki Z900): a different market entirely. NOIRR is ฿3,500 a day for the Monster, which is bookable today, and ฿2,800 reference for the Z900, which is not.

Rates by District

Where you rent changes the price more than most visitors expect. Published 125cc day rates by area, from the same May 2026 source:

• Khao San and Phra Nakhon: ฿150 to ฿250. The cheapest walk-in market in the city, and the one with the highest concentration of passport-deposit shops.
• Ratchada and Huai Khwang: ฿150 to ฿300. Long-stay shops, less tourist markup.
• Chatuchak and Mo Chit: ฿150 to ฿300.
• Sukhumvit (Asok, Phrom Phong): ฿200 to ฿350.
• Silom and Sathorn: ฿200 to ฿350.
• Thonglor and Ekkamai: ฿250 to ฿350. The top of the market for the same machine.

Weekly and Monthly

A week on a 125cc is commonly quoted at ฿1,400 to ฿2,400, and a month at ฿2,000 to ฿4,000, which works out at roughly ฿70 to ฿130 a day. Monthly is where the discount is real, because the fixed costs of a rental, the delivery, the handover, the inspection and the collection, happen once instead of thirty times. Where the Real Cost Hides

Four things separate a quoted rate from a final one, and none of them is usually on the price list.

• The deposit. Cash deposits of ฿1,000 to ฿3,000 on a 125cc are normal. What is not acceptable, and what a lot of shops still ask for, is your original passport. Byklo's own Bangkok guide tells renters to hand over a passport copy and to walk away from any shop that insists on the original. NOIRR takes ฿20,000 in cash or on a card for the Ducati and returns it in full. It never takes a passport.
• Insurance. A very low rate often means third-party liability only, or none at all. Third-party liability covers what you do to other people. It never covers the bike you are sitting on or your own injuries. Your travel policy covers your injuries only if it explicitly permits motorcycles, and only if you hold the correct licence.
• The helmet. Sometimes included, sometimes a separate daily charge, sometimes a lid that would not pass a Thai Industrial Standard check. It is included in every NOIRR rate.
• Getting to the bike. A shop rate assumes you travel to the shop and back, twice. Across Bangkok that is a real cost in both money and hours. Every NOIRR rental is delivered to your address and collected from it.

The Cost of Getting It Wrong

Fines belong in any honest price page. Since 1 April 2026 the Royal Thai Police have enforced ten major traffic violations without a prior warning, ending the warning-first period that ran from 27 January, as reported by Thairath on 30 March 2026. Riding with no helmet is up to ฿2,000. Speeding is up to ฿4,000. Driving without a licence, which in Thai law includes riding a motorbike on a car licence, is up to ฿1,000 with imprisonment of up to one month available to the court. Leaving a licence you do hold at the hotel is the lighter offence, up to ฿1,000 with no imprisonment. What NOIRR Charges, and Why It Is Not the Cheapest

The Ducati Monster 937 is ฿3,500 a day, available now, and it is the only NOIRR vehicle with dates open. That rate includes delivery anywhere in Bangkok, third-party liability insurance, a helmet, a full tank at handover, 24/7 phone support, and collection at the end. The deposit is ฿20,000, refundable, cash or card, and your passport stays with you.
