License and Legal Requirements

Do I need a motorcycle license?

Yes. A valid motorcycle license from your home country plus an International Driving Permit (IDP) with motorcycle endorsement (Category A). Both are required. A car-only license does not cover motorcycles.

What is an IDP and where do I get one?

An International Driving Permit translates your home country license into the standard international format. Get one from your national automobile association before you travel. UK: Post Office or AA. USA: AAA. Australia: NRMA or state club. EU: national automobile club. Cost is typically ฿600-900 equivalent. Valid for 12 months.

What if I only have a car license?

You cannot rent the Ducati. A car license with car-only IDP does not permit motorcycle operation in Thailand. No exceptions.

Is there a minimum age?

Minimum age to rent is 21. Under 25 riders are asked to provide additional documentation of riding experience at booking.

The Bike

What are the specs of the Ducati Monster 937?

937cc Testastretta 11° L-twin engine. 111 horsepower at 9,250rpm. 93Nm torque. Weight: 188kg. Seat height: 820mm. The bike is equipped with Ducati's standard traction control and cornering ABS system. It is not a beginner bike.

Is this the new Monster or an older model?

NOIRR operates a current-generation Ducati Monster 937. Contact via WhatsApp for the exact model year of the current fleet vehicle.

What condition is the bike in?

NOIRR maintains a small, curated fleet. Each vehicle is serviced regularly and inspected before delivery. If you find anything that concerns you at handover, raise it immediately. NOIRR documents the bike condition at delivery and return.

Booking and Pricing

What is the daily rate?

฿3,500 per day.

Is there a weekly rate?

Weekly and extended rates are available. Ask at booking. Longer rentals receive better per-day pricing.

How far in advance do I need to book?

24-48 hours minimum. During high season (November to February, Songkran) book earlier. Same-day requests are occasionally possible but not guaranteed.

How do I book?

WhatsApp at +32491597038 or via noirr.co/booking. Provide your dates, IDP details, and delivery address.

Delivery and Logistics

Where is the bike delivered?

Anywhere in Bangkok. Hotel lobby, condo car park, office address, airport. Confirm the delivery location at booking.

Do I pay extra for delivery?

Delivery within Bangkok is included. Areas outside central Bangkok may carry a small delivery fee. Confirm at booking.

How does the handover work?

NOIRR brings the bike to your location. You'll do a joint condition check, sign the rental agreement, pay the deposit, and receive the keys. The whole process takes about 10-15 minutes.

Insurance and Deposits

What insurance is included?

Third-party liability is included. This covers damage to other vehicles or property. Damage to the Ducati itself in an incident is covered by the security deposit and/or additional insurance options available at booking. NOIRR recommends you carry personal accident coverage via your travel insurance, ensuring your policy covers motorcycle riding with a valid IDP.

What is the security deposit?

A refundable deposit is held at rental commencement. The exact amount depends on duration and is confirmed at booking. NOIRR does not hold passports. Deposit is cash or card.

What happens if the bike is damaged?

Minor damage is assessed against the deposit. Major damage is handled via the insurance process and NOIRR's support team. Document any pre-existing marks at handover with photos. This protects you and creates a clear baseline.

Riding the Bike

Is gear provided?

A helmet is provided. If you have your own ECE-rated helmet, bring it. Gloves and jacket are your responsibility. Riding gear in Bangkok heat: mesh jacket with armour, summer gloves, closed-toe shoes at minimum.

What if I've never ridden a bike this powerful?

The Monster 937 is not for first-time big bike riders. If the most powerful bike you've ridden is 250-400cc, start with the Kawasaki Z900 (฿2,800/day) as a stepping stone. If you're experienced on 600cc or above, the Monster is manageable.

Can I take it outside Bangkok?

Yes. Day trips and overnight trips are permitted. Coordinate planned routes at booking, particularly for multi-day trips to areas like Kanchanaburi or Khao Yai.
