Yes. A valid motorcycle license from your home country plus an International Driving Permit (IDP) with motorcycle endorsement (Category A). Both are required. A car-only license does not cover motorcycles.
An International Driving Permit translates your home country license into the standard international format. Get one from your national automobile association before you travel. UK: Post Office or AA. USA: AAA. Australia: NRMA or state club. EU: national automobile club. Cost is typically ฿600-900 equivalent. Valid for 12 months.
You cannot rent the Ducati. A car license with car-only IDP does not permit motorcycle operation in Thailand. No exceptions.
Minimum age to rent is 21. Under 25 riders are asked to provide additional documentation of riding experience at booking.

NOIRR brings the bike to your location. You'll do a joint condition check, sign the rental agreement, pay the deposit, and receive the keys. The whole process takes about 10-15 minutes.
Third-party liability is included. This covers damage to other vehicles or property. Damage to the Ducati itself in an incident is covered by the security deposit and/or additional insurance options available at booking. NOIRR recommends you carry personal accident coverage via your travel insurance, ensuring your policy covers motorcycle riding with a valid IDP.
A refundable deposit is held at rental commencement. The exact amount depends on duration and is confirmed at booking. NOIRR does not hold passports. Deposit is cash or card.
Minor damage is assessed against the deposit. Major damage is handled via the insurance process and NOIRR's support team. Document any pre-existing marks at handover with photos. This protects you and creates a clear baseline.
A helmet is provided. If you have your own ECE-rated helmet, bring it. Gloves and jacket are your responsibility. Riding gear in Bangkok heat: mesh jacket with armour, summer gloves, closed-toe shoes at minimum.
The Monster 937 is not for first-time big bike riders. If the most powerful bike you've ridden is 250-400cc, start with the Kawasaki Z900 (฿2,800/day) as a stepping stone. If you're experienced on 600cc or above, the Monster is manageable.
